The Minnesota Project Lead the Way Professional Development Conference is a forum to support the more than 200 PLTW programs in the State of Minnesota. Teacher sessions will focus on best practice examples, curriculum/instruction details and improvement. Sessions for administrators, postsecondary representatives and counselors will focus on implementation and sustainability issues of the program.

Conference Goals
- Identify best practice delivery models of courses and programs; and work to create new opportunities for students
- Update the MN PLTW network members on current direction for National PLTW initiatives.
- Improve Career Pathways options for Minnesota Students with seamless transition opportunities through articulation and transfer credit options; and communicate existing collaborative efforts with the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities and goals for the Minnesota Centers for Excellence (360o and MNCEME).
- Identify existing and possible future funding sources through collaboration with business and industry, while also identifying value to Minnesota business and industry partners; demonstrate effective replicable models to sustain programs.

Location
All conference sessions will be held at the Breezy Point Conference Center, 9252 Breezy Point Drive, Breezy Point, MN 56472. www.breezypointresort.com. 1-800-432-3777 – press 5 – extension 7160.
Lodging and Meal Packages (choice of at least one required)
- Full Conference – Breezy Point Full Package (lodging for the night of March 2 is provided, along with dinner on March 2 and breakfast, lunch and breaks on March 3)
- Full Conference – Breezy Point Commuter Package is available for those not requiring lodging, along with a special commuter package for those attending the Counselor and Administrator Pre-Conference.
- Early Arrival – Breezy Point is also offering early arrival lodging at a rate of $119 plus tax per room.
All attendees must make their own reservations. If you have not made your reservation and need a form, please go to www.mnpltw.org, click on “Minnesota Conferences and Workshops” and then follow the link to registration information. The forms are included under a tab on the top of the registration page.
Parking
Parking is free at Breezy Point. Some lodging rooms are located in the main conference area, while most are a one block walk with complimentary shuttle service available.
Special Accommodations
If you require special accommodations due to, but not limited to, dietary requirements or physical challenges, please inform us at least two weeks before you arrive at the conference. We will do our best to provide reasonable accommodations for you.
Cancellations/Refunds/Substitutions
Cancellations must be made by February 15 with notice sent to both Breezy Point and The Odyssey Group’s registration office (chris@togpartners.com). Breezy Point cancellations are subject to a handling fee unless due to conference is cancelled due to weather. If inclement weather (or other circumstances beyond our control) necessitates event cancellation or postponement, details will be posted at www.mnpltw.org. Substitutions will be accepted at any time, including on site.
